Not in Kansas any more

Here are Katherine's Dorothy shoes, bought in New York for a wedding a few years ago. Super sparkly and also super painful (apparently). Ah, her first pair of taxi shoes*.

Poured all day. So we just sulked inside. Hence one from the blip-bank tonight.

Here in East Lothian the Council has to make some big cuts in spending next year, and is asking for everyone's opinions on what should be cut. Two of us from the school Parent Council are going along to one of the consultation meetings next week to put our points of view across - hard work to put across the views of a whole committee - particularly when only one bothers to get back to give us their views. Grumble grumble.

*shoes so painful you have to take a taxi and sit down all night.
