Another wee break the routine morning today. Bit of a shame as it looked to be a rather nice morning for a cycle into work but the school run trumps that any day. Today was actually meant to be a test to see if we could be suss out Bethany's Monday school aversion.

We did however get to the bottom of the problem last week. Apparently there is some sort of writing news round up where they write about what they've done over the weekend. Bethany was getting upset because she couldn't remember what to write about.

Our solution was a Sunday night bullet point round up for her to take with her so she could concentrate on the writing rather than the remembering.

Pity I left the school with bullet point list in my back pocket. Luckily however, because we'd talked about it enough, she remembered easily enough.
