ghost road

i like commuting by bike. gives you the opportunity to see things you wouldn't normally see from a car and even if you would, then there is a sense of being so much closer. crossing these fields by day i fairly often see buzzards (on the ground), rabbits (probably why the buzzards are on the ground!), hares, and a couple of times deer. Tonight i saw a hare, a rabbit, was laughed at by some ducks and i'm pretty sure my light picked out a fox too...

all that wildlife, the wind and rain in your face, the mud on your wheels. the perfect way to get home and when faced with such moments you can even forget all the crazy people on the roads...
