Bowling

Allison invited me to tag along to bowl with her two children. Although I haven't played the game in many, many years, it was fun. R helped C bowl the first few balls. Here they are watching intently as the ball rolled down the lane. A strike!

After bowling, Allison, R and I caught up over lunch. The conversation wandered to many topics - from current issues, to cute pet pictures, to iPad apps, to school projects, to politics. I was impressed by how well informed and articulate R has become, particularly with respect to current issues and to the best iPad apps for tormenting younger brothers. R is Allison's perfect "mini-me."
