Local Hero

An out of the ordinary morning. Went to a meeting at Sheffield Cathedral in order to help plan a day about local hero - James Montgomery (author of Angels from the Realms of Glory) It was a sunny morning, but for me it had the feeling of a snow day in that it was a change of pace from the usual morning of teaching!

The cathedral is being totally refurbished & it was interesting to don high viz jacket & hard hat and look around. Empty of pews and lots of the usual fittings and a sort of mini crane in the nave. Got some good photos, but not sure I'm allowed to use them.
