Rendezvous

• a bar, restaurant, or similar establishment that is used as a popular meeting place.

Just who is this guy waiting for and how long has he been waiting? Are they late or is he early? Or could he be waiting on a bus? Perhaps it isn't a rendezvous at all, it is the name of the restaurant isn't it?
