Catkins

Another busy but satisfying day in the garden saw great progress and it is now looking much more neat and tidy after the ravages of the Winter.

I took time out to visit the nursery to pick up a small Kilmarnock Willow tree to replace one which had died. Whilst digging the hole for planting I noticed the light catching the catkins against the dark background so made a quick snap using the 60mm. macro lens.
