The Red Kites are Building

I have seen red kites carrying large twigs around which makes me think they are building or reconstructing their nest. They are also calling their very shrill call very much like a whistle to the human ear.

I have tried to get pictures of them carying their twigs but nothing has come out satifactorily. The picture is the best one I can get today with the thumbnail top right showing the building materials - not great but OK.

C still in bed though I did tempt her down last night with a roast chicken meal which she ate most of.
