Definitely a day of two seasons here in Northampton. It was thermal gloves and warm jacket for a walk this morning - then after lunch, the temperature shot up from 5C to 18C as the sun broke through and tempted me away from computer work and into the garden.

I caught the scent of this hyacinth before I saw it was open. It's another of my 'taken while I'm upside down' shots so that the blue sky gets in on the act too.
