La Papa Loca

For anyone who has visited us here in Zihua, La Papa Loca (The Crazy Potato) will instantly make their taste buds tingle and mouth start watering. One of our favorite casual dining establishments in the entire world (at least the parts we have visited) and a must stop for all of our returning friends. Tonight we had the table with the best view of the kitchen, so naturally I took a few photos of the cook in action. I'm pretty certain I have photos of him from when we first started coming here almost four years ago. Imagine working that hot grill in the hot Mexican evenings night after night after night. He has clearly perfected his craft, turning out delicious potatoes stuff with all manner of incredibly tasty items to a never dwindling horde of appreciative diners. Long live La Papa Loca.
