A happy birthday?

Backblipped.

Two years ago I spent my birthday in hospital after spinal surgery. This year is wasn't that dramatic but I spent the day tucked up in bed feeling very very poorly indeed (see yesterday's blip). Thankfully it seems the fever finally passed this afternoon... now to fight the rest of the nasty symptoms.

Had to cancel my birthday dinner with my family and postpone all cake and champagne toasts... feeling pretty sorry for myself.

N's card made me cry this morning... I feel so far from the gorgeous he thinks I am... But I am so happy he thinks I am (feeling emotional - illness, birthday, medication...). He also bought me a pretty bunch of flowers on his way home from work tonight. xxx
