Quick before the sun goes in again!

We spent most of the morning catching up on jobs that must be done! At lunchtime we thought we had better take a walk before the clouds returned and so we went to the county park again. It was incredibly quiet as we wandered around the lakes and sat in the hides watching the birds although the wind was still very chilly. We met another couple who had just seen a spotted woodpecker at the feeding station but by the time we reached the hide, the only woodpecker we could see was a picture on a poster! Never mind, another day perhaps. This is one of the several Grebes fishing in the lake.
