Catch Up, Green Ribbons and Matchstick Dogs
Busy day.
In the office all morning, a quick dash for green ribbons at lunchtime, a quick visit to Huddersfield Art Gallery, lunch with Karen and a long catch up of events. And a site visit this afternoon.
Today's blip is from the Art Gallery where Lowry's 1965 painting of Chapel Hill can be found along with a collection from York Art Gallery and of course Henry Moore's Falling Warrior
The Lowry was bought in November 1965 by Huddersfield Arts Committee. The sketches for the painting were made from the top of Chapel Hill looking towards Lockwood.
I never realised the dog population of Chapel Hill was so high and no trolleybuses?
