Discovery

A dazzling drift of daffodils
In the grey and cold
Led to the discovery of a pond
Where ducks reposed and posed
Endearingly.

The village pond quite close to where I live, complete with pub, was a happy find today. Shame the duck wandered away from the daffs before I could catch that colourful combination but s/he is very nice.

Will really try soon to catch up with everyone's journals and to get on top of my own soon!
