Sorry about late blipping. I wont be in this for a few more days as i am tied up with 'Project Iva', as photographer. I wont have access to internet for a few more days, so sadly blip is going on hold.
Im involved in 'Project Iva' through my school. Basically we are raising funds to send a shipping container filled with school supplies over to Iva, which is in Samoa. The reason we chose Iva was because their only primary school had to be moved further inland, due to coastal erosion. They built a new school further inland but its empty, in need of basics like desks etc.. We are currently going around many primary schools here in north canterbury, trying to raise awareness of our project. We are doing workshops with the students, teaching them Samoan arts, music and sport. Im loving the experience, but Im very tired! Also all the members of the project (around 12) are all camping at my friends house. Which is fun, but its an adjustment living in such close proximity to the other teens. Its been, uhh interesting.
Here is a photo taken of some children playing Samoan cricket.
Edit: I was very very tired when i wrote this, lolol..
