The other 'Caley'

L's team is Inverness Caledonian (Caley) Thistle and they have, for the first time, reached the final of the Scottish League Cup. The 'big' match is on Sunday and the tickets arrived today to much excitement! Mr Cakes, L and our friend and his son are all heading to Glasgow to watch the game..........the match is against Aberdeen: the team Mr Cakes has supported since childhood.......

Been a glorious day; beautifully clear and sunny from very first thing. It's been a real pleasure to be out in and the first time we've come home from a run with dry feet in what feels like months! The first of our daffodils have flowered and were turning their little faces to savour the sun; a few more days like this would be very welcome :-)
