Moon: 11th March 2014 18:00

I was in a dilemma this evening, having a good solar image (plenty of sunspots in evidence) to blip, until I looked outside and saw the moon in full daylight. I only had my Canon Powershot SX30IS to hand so I took a handful of shots. When I'd processed the images I decided that I'd blip the moon instead, choosing one frame from the sequence.

Canon Powershot SX30 IS at 1/160s, f/6.0, ISo80 and 840mm (35mm equivalent). It doesn't do too badly for an obsolete camera with a tiny sensor that only shoots .JPG format images!
