Time
I want to turn the clock back to when people lived in small villages and took care of each other.
Pete Seeger. American musician. 1919-2014.
The gable end of one of the old estate buildings at Fyvie Castle. The large clock, now broken and silent, would have informed the estate workers, who doubtless could not afford a pocket watch, of how the day was progressing. The bell would have signalled the start and end of the working day, and meal times, for many generations now passed into memory.
Fyvie Castle, like all good Scottish castles is of course throughly haunted.
