Big Red's Makeover

Day off, after dropping Joshua at Bella's a quick run to B&Q to pick up a 'workmate' and instead of cracking on with Big Red the first thing to do was build the said 'workmate'.
I had forgotten how enjoyable carpentry, however basic, can be. The plan is to build additional seating with storage beneath inside Big Red. It will also house a leisure battery with extra electrics to supply the plethora of electrical equipment teenagers seem to need to survive these days.
The late afternoon/early evening was attending Joshua's parents evening. These have turned from the ordeal of a couple of years ago to an not altogether unpleasant experience.

Irrespective of his academic reports which are very good it is that he is considered polite, courteous, well behaved, good natured, kind, keen, good natured and pleasant to be around, all terms used tonight by his teachers - Good Lad.
