How have I never been here before?

Having lived in the lakes for a number of years, can't believe I've never visited Loweswater. Though it's only a stones throw from the Kirkstile inn, a place I've visited a number of times.
Today on my way from Cockermouth to the Kirkstile inn passed Loweswater and paused to take this shot.
So beautiful and peaceful.
I was looking at the surrounding un conquered Wainwrights and wishing I had my walking boots on instead of my heels.
Such a beautiful sunny day, sunshine makes people happy. I much prefer driving in the dry after the awful rain we've had.
