The Drowned Forest

I took the kids down to the west to see their grandmother for the weekend. I had read a report in the Irish Times of ancient tree stumps and root systems uncovered by the recent storms and when the kids were going stir crazy on Sunday afternoon I took them to Spiddal* to see if I could find them.

Luckily I did. I just followed the crowds, well maybe twenty people.

*Not on the north Galway coastline
