Sorry that I'm cheating again. This photo was not taken today, nor did I take it. Credit to Tom for taking the picture while we were away in the summer! It seems I'm getting worse at remembering to actually take photos.
The subject of the photo however, is relevant. Today I was thankful for the opportunity to spend time with Vincent and his wife as I met them to walk them to the university. Vincent is so incredibly interesting that I could have stayed talking to them all day but by the time I did leave I was already 40 minutes late for a lecture so I really couldn't have lingered much longer!
To those who are in Birmingham tomorrow (Wednesday 12th) he is giving a talk entitled 'the war in Uganda' at 5 in the arts building. I'm pretty sure it's going to be great so do come along!
