Ginger cake

In our office Lesley is famous for her cake baking and she very kindly bakes one for everyone's birthday. Today (one day early) it was my turn and so she made my favourite ginger cake.

Although I'm not a huge cake fan, I do love this one, especially all the pieces of sweet ginger on the top.
