Standing Out From The Crowd

On my travels today I was passing Jells Park and on an impulse I turned in.
There's a nice little bistro in there and I like the coffee.
I was on my own and, for some reason, I was acutely aware of this. I realised I'd never gone there by myself before, always with hubby or friends to have a walk, or a bike ride and of course my coffee. Plus, I was "overdressed" for the park.
Anyway, I decided to walk down to the lake and maybe I would get a blip in the process and have coffee after. I began to take some shots as I went along but I felt a bit conspicuous because there were a few groups of people and couples having picnics alongside the path and I only had my camera for company.

Just as I headed back to the bistro, I saw this amazing tree and knew it was my blip for today.
It was the perfect match to the experience of my little sojourn in the park.

P.S. My coffee was fantastic!!
