Small Tortoiseshell

The day started cloudy but soon cleared to sunshine, much cooler than at the weekend though. Went into Southend this morning, had haircut, bought a new purse and did a bit of browsing then caught bus home (still not seen the bus with my photo on!) Went digging at the allotment, saw mum, went for a walk, school, cuppa with a friend and then some more digging! This is the second butterfly I've seen (not able to get photo of one the other day) and then I saw two more, they were enjoying the sunshine.
