The Serious Business of Play

I brought my niece and nephews to the park on Saturday and watched them play hide and seek with all the rituals and rules that go along with this childhood game.
They learn so much in its playing:
Fair Play
Clarity
Patience
Equality
Disappointment
Their own limits
Team Work
Negotiation
Practicality (C told me he wasn't bringing his gloves because it is easier to get a grip on the branches without them)
Despite their different ages they were model gamespeople. I think I need a refresher!
