Perth of least resistance

Perth is outwith my bailiwick, but I've taken on a piece of work there and had planned to go there this afternoon.

I had to say that as I was accused of looking out the window and deciding a trip was necessary.

I didn't need to say 'outwith my bailiwick', but certainly enjoyed it.
