Never knew that Swans abandon their kids at a certain stage and the youngsters who have been taken care of all the time don't understand whats going on.

This lonely youngster was swimming sadly around not having a clue what had changed and feeling very sorry for it's self.

At first I thought it was sick till someone told me this story.

On my way back home I also spotted a field with at least 100 swans wanting around in couples. I guess they were returning after a winter in the south now the weather is becoming rapidly better.

What a beautiful sight but I couldn't stop on the motorway to shoot it. Such a pity as it was a uncommon sight.

Anybody want to adopt this youngster?
