Flaming...

I suggested that we should have a small bonfire, but somehow, like Topsy, it just grew! We've done quite a lot of tree-pruning recently and have been waiting a long time for some dry weather with no wind to have a bonfire. Three frogs and a multitude of snails were all rescued before we set light to the pile.

It was a busy, busy day with a lot of driving -

- picking Alex up from the dentist

- meeting old friends for lunch

- taking Alex to the surgery at Whittlesey for the first set of jabs for his trip

- hunting round the local DIY shops for paraffin

- cooking Toad-in-the-hole while the garden burnt!

I'm exhausted!!
