So last season

As I was wandering around this afternoon looking for photographic inspiration, I noticed this leaf, backlit by the sun. The leaf is, I am sure, left over from last season but is welcoming in the sunshine of the new Spring.

This was a handheld shot on my compact camera but, if you hit "L" on your keyboard to view it large, you can see the veins and texture of the leaf as the light shines through it.
