Breaking through

It is no secret that we've had hideous weather lately, although Cardiff hasn't suffered too much from floods and the aftermath that other areas are dealing with.

I took Friday and Monday off to recover from an OTT few weeks of work and took my friend's dog out for a walk at lunchtime. I managed to find a clear hour without rain, it had been torrential all morning. That said, in weather like this you can catch the most amazing moments as the sun breaks through fast moving cloud.

It works as a good analogy for life and work right now, I'm just about breaking through the storm.
