evening stroll

After yet another rainy day it turned nice after tea so we had a stroll along the canal. On the way back we met 'Brendon and Diane' sitting on a bench enjoying a glass of wine, being the sociable kind we enquired if they had had a good day on their narrowboat, and before we knew it were helping to finish off another bottle of wine. - well they did offer and it would have been rude not to!
Our life stories later we wished them a safe journey and hoped we'd meet again.
What a pleasurable end to our evening stroll.
