The builder came round this morning to discuss the cracked rendering. He will fix it for free, two years after it went on, but we've asked for a quote to have cladding put over it. Mr S wanted it but was unsure about it at the time. Now he regrets not having it. So if it's within our budget we will go for it. So bang goes our savings again!!

Met up with the lovely craft ladies this morning and got some knitting done. Then a few hours peace before the girls were home from school. Guinea pigs were cleaned out, dinner cooked and then off they went with the Cub Scouts to a Buddhist centre! So a late night for them. I've been sorting out paperwork this evening, which has got to be the most boring job of the day.
