Both flowers are beautiful, one in its simplicity and the other is very luxurious.
It is the first time the Camellia has flowered since planting it last year. T had given it to me in a pot as a Mothering Sunday gift, the cut flowers having sold out!

We have gone mad in our jungle of a garden, cutting back everything, mowing the grass, pulling weeds and enjoying the warmth. The spring flowers have been out for a couple of weeks now, even the tulips prematurely. Skylarks sing overhead, we can't have a freeze up now!
