Gotcha !!

I have been trying to get a decent picture of a red kite for ages.

I could hear this one calling (for his mate !!??) but couldn't see him. When I did spot him I realised I needed to change the lens, which I did, & he was still there; sat in a tree about 100yds away. Managed to get a few shots but if I'm honest they aren't brilliant - I could have done with using the tripod which was upstairs.

Anyhow this is the best shot so far, though yesterday I saw at least 6 of them ducking & diving & basically showing off.
