The Shelter, l'Abri.

This morning's cross country pistes were frozen solid and not easy to walk up. We passed this little hut near Villars, is called l'Abri which means "shelter" in French. I have never seen anyone in it, nor had recourse to use it myself (something to do with being a fairweather skier maybe) but it is comforting to know it is there. The ridge behind lead up to the Diablerets massif.

Larger and longer ridge behind.

Thanks for all the stars and even a heart for yesterday's sunning himself, lizard. The contrasts at the moment are incredible here.
