Long beak, long legs ....

could only be the unmistakeable Grey Heron, and what a beauty....I don't unusually get a chance to see him so close up, but today, instead of standing on one leg at the far side of the river that runs through a small park in SE London, there he was, standing at the edge of the duck pond...and he didn't flick a feather whilst I took a few pics if him.... The sunlight across the water was also very pretty.
