For a while now, we've have been encouraging noah to try to change his insulin injection site from his bottom to the side of his leg. But with him having aspergers it wasn't going to be easy.
At 1st he wasn't entertaining the idea (putting it mildly) but with lots of work from specialist and Claire, today he actually let us do it! Not just once but twice! This chart/picture set is how we chart his progress, for every injection in the leg, he gets a farm yard animal sticker fie his farm.
This is a big thing for him and for everyone concerned.
It's a major step in the right direction as ultimately we are hoping to stop the injections and move on to a insulin pump.
I couldn't be any prouder.
