Looking West From Harter Fell

Mountains beyond mountains, a hazy blue day in the Lake District. We walked from the car park at the end of Haweswater and headed up by Small Water Tarn, then up onto the back of Harter Fell. The view from the top was radical, as you looked down towards Kentmere you could see the endless lines of fells under the silver sun.
