Bonsai

Tonight I met my wonderful friend Sinead for a delightful evening of Japanese food and wine.

You may have noticed, we've been out for Japanese food a number of times before. Well tonight we went to Bonsai on West Richmond Street. Although a little out of the way, I think overall it was much better than the Broughton Street Bonsai. Better atmosphere, service and specials - the beef and mushroom gyoza were to die for.

We stopped at Biblos on Chambers Street on the way there. I was rather happily surprised to find that they offer student discount on the wine. £5.40 for 2 large glasses of wine. We almost died of excitement. You'd normally be lucky to pay that for 1 glass in Edinburgh! We even stopped back in for a drink after the meal, it'd be rude not to after all!
