Waiter

Mum and Dad arrived on a pit stop on the way to sister Sarah's today - and it combined very well as an excuse to support James in his new job as a waiter at The Three Tuns.

As it was his "training day" we thought it would be quiet, but not at all - I think we added to his problems as the place was packed!

My job as "most-embarrassing-Mum-of the year" required me to take lots of photos of his taking the order - for our table - and others, but the blip at the end of the day had to be my own lovely Mum, who was looking as relaxed and happy as I've seen her for a while.  Speech is still very confusing and very muddled but it's lovely to see her eating things and smiling.
