Sandy sunny afternoon

A warm one again today after a grey day yesterday - hurrah nice to see the big yellow ball again.

We took full advantage with a trip out this am to the local shops and cafe - new little car for C from Grandma (suitably spoilt while we're here!).

Late afternoon we walked down to the beach and had a great time splashing in the lovely surf, getting very sandy (C decided he would pelt Mummy & Grandma with wet sand) and generally getting that warm and sun-soaked sandy feeling to walk home with.

C actually asked to get into bed this evening after milk and story he was so tired!
