A real treat today to hear part of a rehearsal of Britten's Ceremony of Carols. I had the chance to find out more about the instrument ... and take some photos.

Tonight was the last time I will ever attend a Parents' Evening. Not as much queuing to speak to teachers as in past years. This is one event in the year I won't be sad to miss.

For those who are interested in weather reports - we actually had a lot of blue sky in Glasgow today. Most welcome after the deluge yesterday.
