Safe?

The new job I have started this week has me and my friend travelling out to a less than desirable suburb everyday. Everyone has been warning us how awful it is and we wouldn't feel safe. To be honest - it doesn't seem like the worst place ever but last night my dad was assuring me that I should be very wary as it really is known for nefarious goings on after dark.

Took this photo from my flat mates car today so I could reassure my Dad that we are possibly parked in the safest place in the area. I feel a car thief or mugger would be a little foolhardy to hassle us here :-)

Apologies if I am not visiting many blips at the mo. Don't have broadband til next week and I seem to be very busy at the moment. I will catch up with you all when I can.
