Not a feeder in sight

After many tries I finally captured a Lesser Finch in my Catalpa tree and not at the feeder. He was ready to dive down for a snack when I made a few shots refocusing at each shot. This is the best of the lot. The 1.4x extender eliminates the auto focus on my lens which is by Canon design....... Arrrg!
