The Road Home
When I stopped in the middle of the road to take this photo, I had no idea that earlier, my nephew hit a chunk of a snow plow that had broken off, giving him a flat tire on his truck.
I had considered cropping out the electrical/phone pole, but decided against it.
We all travel many roads in our lives. So bumpier than others.
Funny how some of the same physical roads can represent different things to every person who travels along them.
My road home was icy cold with a dazzling sunset and crystal clear sky. The sun was just setting at 7:00 PM, EDT. This same road was the scene of my nephew's tire mishap.
Even taken through my dirty windshield, you can feel the cold.
