Countdown: T -3:40
We came back from Newcastle with a hand-me-down breadmaker and food processor. The breadmaker is something I'va wanted to try but it had seemed more money and space than it was worth so getting one that was going begging to give it a try was a chance not to be missed. Ingredients have been poured in and hopefully after 3 hours and 45 minutes out should pop a loaf of beautifully baked Buttermilk and Honey Loaf. If it works I feel this is as close to a Star Trek Replicator as I will ever come to in my life time. The food processor is something we have but this one has all the attachments that are sadly missing from our's such as a whisk and dough hook.
On the way back home we stopped at Woller Farm to Freeze and picked some of the same beef rib we had at Jen's parents and a couple of pheasant (excellent for balti). One of the pheasants is marinating in yoghurt, balti paste, coriander and mint overnight to be roasted tomorrow. Can't wait!
