Corridor

The near empty state of my off-cuts and kindling shed has been nagging me of late. I usually make two or three trips to the sawmill about this time of year, and today the conditions were ideal. I was feeling rather sore from yesterday's efforts, but decided to go anyway. I'm so glad I did. There was a big pile of my favourite sized off-cuts, easy to access, bone dry and ready to be scooped up into my hatchback. Visitors to the mill are required to wear the supplied high-vis vest and helmet. When I returned them I spotted these more serious high-vis coats hanging in a dark corridor. There was nobody about so I nipped out to my car for my camera. I used the flash for this image.

Back home I unloaded the car. There were twelve barrow loads, which made a very satisfying heap in the shed.
