flying by!

...that's what this week seems to be doing, as does Pete as I put him through his paces over the fields on our way to Watnall Wood. A glorious morning, fog early doors, but lifted and became yet another beautiful day.

A morning off from filling skips and hacking down sheds. Skip collected safely this morning....am always paranoid they're not going to be able to lift it!

After lunch, I continued with my little log store project. Making a store for firewood out of the old shed door. Really enjoyed making it, and very pleased with the outcome....my 26 year career in banking was wasted!!

cooked a seafood kedgeree for tea, which was a little too hot for my likely. Had to settle for a non-alcoholic lager to cool me down!
