...well here was me thinking I could be a tad too cute and botch the phrase 'time waiteth for no man' to 'time waiteth for no..dog'..

However, the many google searches came up with many variations on this theme including 'tide nor time tarrieth no man' .
Thankfully no tide as Astro with his aversion to water of any description but definitely 'time'.
